Retractable screen is classified into Cassette and Rail. The screen is stored inside of the cassette and is designed to operate by sliding on rails. Fibre glass and polyester mesh are the perfect materials for blocking insects in New Zealand. It’s tensile strength is better than any other mesh types, for example aluminium or stainless steel. It does not get oxidised or rusted by the strong UV. Pleated screen is inherently more stable with less sagging compared to other general flat mesh screens. Rather than coiling into frame, the pleated mesh collapses neatly into the frame on the side. Pleated screen can be also used with virtually any types of door to complement any large opening door.
