Choose for the room, then the finish
For a bedroom, start with privacy and light reduction. Blockout fabric screens light through the material; the fit determines how much light enters around the edges. For a sunny living room, sunscreen can soften glare while keeping a filtered view, with a second layer where night-time privacy is needed.
For adjustable slats, compare timber, PVC and aluminium in our Venetian range. Consider moisture, ease of cleaning and the weight of the blind as well as the colour. Wide openings and frequently used doors may be better suited to vertical blinds.
Good value comes from choosing well
